Enrolment in each course is limited and in some cases the demand exceeds that limit. The University is unable to guarantee registration in any particular course and reserves the right to withdraw course offerings.

Courses are assigned to three Categories and students must take 1.0 course from each Category before graduation. For a list of courses by Categories see "Breadth Requirements for Bachelor Degrees"

Check the requirements for the degree that you are pursuing and read the description of the program.
Check the prerequisites for courses that you intend to take in future years.

A REMINDER

Some courses do not provide prerequisites for senior courses. Some senior courses are restricted to honors students.

 

SOME OF THE COURSES DESCRIBED IN THIS SECTION MAY NOT BE OFFERED IN THE COMING YEAR

* Courses offered by the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry (with the exception of Pathology and Epidemiology and Biostatistics courses that were completed prior to May, 2005), may be substituted for courses offered by the Faculty of Science.

^* These courses are equivalent to pre-university introductory courses and may be counted for credit in the student's record, unless these courses were taken in a preliminary year.
