Anthropology 320, Archaeological Summer Field School | |
| Description: A detailed, hands-on introduction to the practice of field archaelology. Students will participate in intensive, problem-oriented, research excavations and field laboratory work, (including computer processing of data), on an undisturbed archaelogical site in southwestern Ontario. The course will be held on site during the summer. Students will be expected to attend all day long, every weekday for 4 weeks. Limited Enrollment. | Description: Using techniques of discourse analysis, the course focuses on the performance of persons, communities and structures as they express their positions.
