Admission
A student may not pursue both the Certificat de français pratique and a French module. All the French courses of the Certificat program may be credited toward other undergraduate programs.
The normal prerequisite to enter the Certificat program is Grade 12U French or practical equivalent. A placement test will be required. Applicants lacking Grade 12U French or practical equivalent may take the normal French Studies Department prerequisite courses (
French 1002 and/or
French 1010) to qualify, prior to admission to the Certificat program. Contact the Faculty of Arts and Humanities Academic Counselling Office to apply.
