The Western-Fanshawe Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BScN) is a 4-year program that qualifies graduates to apply for registration as a professional nurse with The College of Nurses of Ontario. All students complete years three and four at the UWO site. Program requirements are the same in both sites.

Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program
The certificate program will be withdrawn effective, September 2008

The  purpose of the Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program is to prepare nurses with advanced practice skills who will provide comprehensive health services (health promotion, prevention of disease and injury, rehabilitation and support services, and treatment of a range of common health problems within the scope of nursing practice and in collaboration with other health professionals). Graduates of the program will be qualified for extended class registration by the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Compressed Time Frame BScN Program
The Compressed Time Frame Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BScN) is a 19-month program that qualifies graduates to apply for registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. This is a concentrated 5-term program requiring students to study in the fall, winter and summer terms over 19 months. The program is offered at Western and must be completed on a full-time basis. Students in this program would graduate in June after the second year. Students entering this program need to give serious consideration to outside responsibilities related to finances, work and family, as they will need to study year round.
