Kinesiology Physical Activity Skills and Coaching courses refer to the following Kinesiology courses:

Each of
Kinesiology 2202Q/R/S/T -
2225Q/R/S/T and
3302Q/R/S/T -
3329Q/R/S/T, is a 0.25 course, five lecture/lab hours per week for a six-week term. The six-week term is designated with the suffix Q, R, S or T. A maximum of four Physical Activity quarter courses (or equivalent) must
be selected in each of second and third year. One quarter course per six-week term may be taken during any academic year. No more than twelve 0.25 (or equivalent) activity courses are allowed in any Kinesiology degree. Special permission will be required for any activity courses selected beyond the required maximum of eight 0.25 courses (or equivalent).
Prior to graduation, a student must complete a minimum of eight 0.25 courses (or equivalent) in all Kinesiology degree programs, unless designated otherwise.

2277A/B may be combined with or replace Physical Activity Skill or Coaching courses. For example: Dance 2275A (September to December) and Kinesiology 2205S plus 3305T (January to April).
Swim RequirementBy April 30 of their third year, all students who do not complete an aquatic Physical Activity Course that requires swimming ability must present certification, equivalent to Red Cross Level 6 or higher, of their ability to swim. In the absence of certification, students must, at their own expense, complete a swim test that is approved by the School of Kinesiology.
