Language Requirement for Graduation
Students graduating with a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies (BMOS) with Specialization in Global Studies must demonstrate an engagement with language. The language requirement can be met in one of the following ways:
2.0 language courses with progression from one-level to the next (e.g., 1020 - 1999-level to 2200-2999 level) in a language other than English, or 2.0 language courses in different languages (other than English) at any level by demonstrating competence in two languages other than English.

1.0 course: Business Administration 1220. 0.5 course: Centre for Global Studies 1023F/G. 0.5 course: elective. 1.0 course from: Mathematics 1225A/B, 1228A/B, 1229A/B; Calculus 1000A/B, 1100A/B, 1301A/B, 1501A/B; Linear Algebra 1600A/B; or the former Mathematics 030 or 031. 0.5 course: Management and Organizational Studies 1020A/B. 0.5 course from: Computer Science 1032A/B (required for the Diploma in Accounting), or one other half-course in Computer Science numbered 1020-1999. 1.0 course from: Economics 1020, History 1801E, Political Science 1020E.
Note: Students wishing to transfer to a BMOS Honors degree must have the proper Mathematics pre-requisites for advanced Economics courses.
11.0 senior courses:
1.0 course normally taken in second year: Business Administration 2257. 0.5 course normally taken in second year:Centre for Global Studies 2002F/G. 1.0 course normally taken in second year from: Sociology 2205A/B, 2206A/B, Psychology 2830A, Economics 2122A/B and 2123A/B, Statistical Sciences 2035 (or Statistical Sciences 1023A/B and 1024A/B – note the limit on the total number of 1000-1999 level courses). 1.0 course normally taken in second year from: History 2701E, Political Science 2231E. 1.0 course: Management and Organizational Studies 2180, Psychology 2060, Sociology 2169. 0.5 course from: Centre for Global Studies 3001F/G, 3002F/G, 3003F/G, 3004A/B. 1.0 course normally taken in third year: Management and Organizational Studies 3310A/B, 3320A/B. 1.0 course: Management and Organizational Studies 2155A/B, 3360A/B, 3361A/B, 3372; Economics 2114F/G, 2120A/B, 2121A/B, 2124A/B, 2125A/B, 2150A/B, 2152A/B, 2163A/B, 2164A/B; History 2201E, 2207F/G, 2213F/G, 2217F/G; Philosophy 2074F/G, 2821F/G, 2822F/G. 1.0 course normally taken in fourth year: Management and Organizational Studies 3330A/B and 4410A/B. 1.0 course: Centre for Global Studies 2000 level or above. 2.0 courses in Arts and or Social Science.
