* These 5.0 courses from the Medical Science Disciplines (see definition above) have been divided into two groups. When selecting courses from the two groups, at least 2.0 must be from one Discipline and 2.0 from a second Discipline. The remaining 1.0 course may be from any of the Disciplines. Progression requires a minimum average of 70% in the above 200-level Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, and Statistics courses. 1.5 courses with laboratories, numbered 200 or above, from the Medical Science Disciplines, Biology, or Chemistry must be completed prior to entering the final year of the module. Students are advised to consult with the BMSc counsellor prior to selecting 300- and 400-level courses to ensure that appropriate prerequisite courses have been selected.
