MINOR IN FOUNDATIONS OF PSYCHOLOGY


Admission Requirements

Completion of first-year requirements, including the following 2.0 courses with a mark of at least 60%:

1.0 course in Psychology at the 020 level
1.0 course from: Mathematics 028a/b and Statistical Sciences 024a/b (recommended); Mathematics 030 or Mathematics 031 (031 preferred); Mathematics 012a/b or 017a/b, Calculus 050a/b, 051a/b, 081a/b, Linear Algebra 040a/b. If either Mathematics 012a/b or Mathematics 017a/b is selected, then either Statistical Sciences 024a/b or Mathematics 028a/b must be taken.


Module

4.0 courses:

2.0 courses normally taken in second year: Psychology 280E, 281
0.5 course in Psychology numbered 200-239
0.5 course in Psychology numbered 240-279 (Psychology 290a/b is recommended)
0.5 course from the Psychology 300-339 series normally taken in third year
0.5 course from the Psychology 340-379 series normally taken into third year

It is recommended that students take Writing 020F/G or 101F/G in the first or second year.
