INTERNATIONAL AND COMPARATIVE STUDIES


Language Requirement for Graduation with Honors Specialization or Specialization

Students graduating with an Honors Specialization or Specialization must satisfy the International and Comparative Studies language requirement in one of the following ways:

  1. 2.0 language courses with progression from one level to the next (e.g., 030-level to 200-level or 200-level to 300-level) in a language other than English, or
  2. 2.0 language courses in two different languages (other than English) at any level, or
  3. by demonstrating fluency in a language other than English

Students are permitted to use language courses at the 200 level or above to meet module requirements where appropriate.
