Admission Requirements
A complete first year program that includes the following courses, with a minimum mark of 60% in each: *If Linear Algebra 040a/b is not taken in first year, it must be completed prior to the beginning of third year. † If Statistical Sciences 023a/b is not taken in first year, students should consult with an academic counselor in the Department of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences prior to entering second year. ** Students who completed Calculus 081a/b prior to September 2003 may enter this program with a minimum mark of 70% in Calculus 081a/b.

Third Year
Mathematics 222a Either Computer Science 209a/b, 212a/b/y, whichever was not taken in second year** Four half-courses in Computer Science numbered 300 or above. Four half-courses in Statistical and Actuarial Sciences numbered 310 and above, with no more than two half courses in Actuarial Science.
Notes
**The former Computer Science 201 and an additional half-course option may be substituted for Computer Science 210a/b, 211a/b, 212a/b/y. The Area of Concentration will consist of the 9.5 senior-level courses which are specified in second and third year (9.0 courses for those who have completed the former Computer Science 201).
