THREE-YEAR BA IN FILM STUDIES
Admission Requirements
Students must achieve at least 60% in Film Studies 020E and must consult with the Department prior to admission.
Program
No more than one full-course equivalent at the 100 level may be counted towards the Area of Concentration in Film Studies.
a. Students registered in the program after September 1986 but prior to September 1991 may graduate under the regulations in force at the time of registration: English 020E or 022E or 024E or Film Studies 020E. At least one, but not more than two courses from the former Film Studies 151E, 253E, 154E, 270F/G (or the former Film Studies 170F/G). Additional Film Studies courses as required for a total of five. b. Students registered in the program after September 1991 but prior to September 1994 may graduate under the regulations in force at the time of registration: Film Studies 020E. The equivalent of five full senior courses in Film Studies, including Film Studies 270F/G. Successful completion of any full English course or Writing 101F/G is also required. No more than one of Film Studies 253E or 154E can be counted. c. Students registered in the program after September 1994 but prior to September 2000 may graduate under the regulations in force at the time of registration: Film Studies 020E, and the equivalent of five full senior courses in Film Studies, including Film Studies 270F/G, the former Film Studies 271F/G and Film Studies 251E. No more than one of Film Studies 253E or 154E can be counted. d. Students registered in the program after September 2000 but prior to September 2002 may graduate under the regulations in force at the time of registration: Film Studies 020E, and the equivalent of five full senior courses in Film Studies, including Film Studies 270F/G, 271F/G, 251E, and one of Film Studies 158F/G or 258F/G. No more than one full-course equivalent at the 100 level may be counted.
