PSYCHOLOGY AREA OF CONCENTRATION
At least 60% in Psychology 022E. Students must earn credit in at least five Honors Psychology courses including Psychology 283a (half-course); two of Psychology 208E, 227E, 241E, 275E; and two and one-half other Honors Psychology courses. A minimum mark of 60% is required for credit in each of the courses counting towards an area of concentration. It is strongly recommended that Psychology 283a be taken in second year. Students planning to transfer into any honors psychology program after Year 2 or 3, are strongly advised to take Psychology 208E and to complete other Honors programs requirements as specified below. Students who plan to do an Area of Concentration in Psychology at Huron University College are strongly advised to include Psychology 022E in their first-year course selections. Students who have taken Psychology 020 or its equivalent are eligible for Huron University College courses requiring Psychology 022E as a prerequisite if they have taken, or are concurrently taking, Psychology 281 (Faculty of Social Science).
