COMBINED HONORS PROGRAMS IN SOCIAL SCIENCE
Usually, a combined honors program requires the inclusion of one course from each of the two combining disciplines in first year. After the first year, a combined honors program requires a specified number of courses (often 6), from each Department, together with enough options to complete graduation requirements. Options may be additional courses from either of the combining subjects and probably should be, in the case of a student contemplating graduate work in either subject. Course selection must be approved by both departments.
