COMMUNITY SERVICE LEARNING IN THE HISPANIC WORLD: CULTURE, PEOPLE AND HISTORY IN CONTEXT


Learn about the Hispanic world through classroom study and community service learning in a Spanish-speaking country. The course contemplates, culture, history and contemporary social issues. Community Service Learning activities, destination and length of the stay abroad will vary.

Prerequisite(s): Be at least in second year of a Spanish module at the time of applying and have permission of Department of Modern Languages and Literatures. See Department for information on application procedure. Pre-or Corequisite(s): Spanish 2200; Spanish 2215F/G or Spanish 2216F/G or Spanish 2800F/G.

Extra Information:Part of the course in a classroom setting; community service learning abroad.
