Admission Requirements
Completion of first-year requirements with no failures. Students must have an average of at least 70% in 3.0 principal courses, including Sociology 1020 or 1021E plus 2.0 additional courses, with no mark in these principal courses below 60%.

4.5 courses: Sociology 2202, Sociology 2205A/B and 2206A/B (or the former Sociology 231), Sociology 2246A/B, 2247A/B, 3306A/B (or the former Sociology 3300A/B), Sociology 3307F/G (or the former 3302A/B, Sociology 4405F/G.
1.0 course from: Sociology 2240E or Sociology 2270A/B and 2271A/B.
1.0 course from: Sociology 3308F/G, 3315F/G, 4408F/G, 4476F/G.
1.5 courses from: Sociology 2179A/B*, Sociology 2232 (or the former Sociology 232E), Sociology 2233 or 2234E, 2235, 2263A/B, 3314F/G. Sociology 3308F/G, 3315F/G, 4408F/G, 4476F/G may also be taken to fulfill this requirement if not taken above.
1.0 course from: Anthropology 2290F/G, Epidemiology and Biostatistics 3330B, Health Sciences 2200A/B, 2450A/B, 2600F/G, 2610F/G, the former 2400A/B, History of Science 2220, Philosophy 2071E*, Philosophy 2073F/G*, Philosophy 2720F/G, Psychology 2036A/B*.
*Note: Only 1.0 of these courses numbered 2000 to 2199 may be taken in the Honors Specialization module.
Please note that Sociology 2205A/B and 2206A/B are mandatory for students registered in year 2, and Sociology 3300A/B and 3302A/B are mandatory for students registered in year 3 of this Honors Specialization.
