In the evaluation of students of Dentistry, it is clear that not only are high minimum standards of competency required in the theory and practice of the profession but that equally high standards must apply to the professional conduct students exhibit throughout their full course of study in Dentistry. Accordingly, students will be evaluated not only in terms of their knowledge of and competency in the disciplines indigenous to the science and art of dentistry, but will also be evaluated on their concern for the interests and welfare of their patients, on their professional deportment, and on their mature regard for and co-operation with the approved regulations essential to an environment in which service and teaching are inseparable.
