SPECIALIZATION IN NUTRITION AND FAMILIES - effective September 1, 2011

This module, appropriate for (but not exclusive to) those wishing to go on to a Faculty of Education, combines coursework from the Division of Food and Nutritional Sciences and the Division of Sociology and Family Studies. This program includes attaining the designation of Professional Home Economist (P.H.Ec.) post-graduation.

Admission Requirements
Completion of first-year requirements with no failures. Students must have an average of at least 60% with no mark below 60% in the following 4.0 principal courses: Foods and Nutrition 1030E, Family Studies 1020, Sociology 1020 or 1021E, Psychology 1000.
