e-mail: chem@uwo.ca The Department of Chemistry provides a program leading to a 3-year BSc degree and a program leading to a 4-year BSc degree in Honors Chemistry. It also participates in joint programs leading to 3-year BSc degrees in Biochemistry and Chemistry, Chemistry and Environmental Science, and Chemistry and Geology, and in programs leading to 4-year BSc degrees in Honors Biochemistry and Chemistry, Honors Chemistry and Economics, Honors Chemistry with Environmental Science, in Honors Applied Mathematics with a Chemistry option, and in Honors Science of Materials. The concentration in Chemistry begins in the second year on successful completion of a first year program. The election of either the 3-year or the 4-year program is made after a second year with common principal courses. The student's eligibility to enter the 4-year degree program will be determined, in part, by the selection of subsidiary courses in the second year.
