FOUR-YEAR BSc HONORS CHEMISTRY AND ECONOMICS

Important note: This is a four-year Honors program with no three-year equivalent.

Admission Requirements

A complete first year that includes Chemistry 020 with a minimum mark of 60%, or Chemistry 023, with a minimum mark of 70%; Economics 020; Calculus 050a/b and one of Calculus 051a/b or 081a/b or Linear Algebra 040a/b; Physics 020, 024 or 028a/b and 029a/b, or the former Physics 022 or 025. A minimum mark of 60% is required in the Economics course and both of the Math half-courses.

Economics 152a/b, 153a/b (both with a minimum mark of 70%)

Third Year

Three of: Chemistry 210a/b, 272F, 370a/b, 371F, 372F/G, 373F, 374a/b, 384F/G (including at least one of Chemistry 371F, 373F, 374a/b, 384F/G); or three of the former Chemistry 226a/b, 351a, 352a, 354b, 362b, 374a (including at least one of the former Chemistry 351a, 353a, 354b, 374a)
Economics 210a/b*, 222a/b, 223a/b
One half-course in Economics at the 300-level
*Economics 320a/b, normally an option in the fourth year, may be taken in place of Economics 210a/b in year 3.
