ONTARIO KINESIOLOGY ASSOCIATION (O.K.A.)
(Certified Kinesiologist) The Ontario Kinesiology Association has recognized courses from the Honors Bachelors Degrees in Kinesiology [BA and BSc Honors Specialization Modules] toward completion of the Certified Kinesiologist status. All students seeking certification must complete a 'core' of courses plus sixteen additional elective areas as stipulated by O.K.A. The O.K.A. 'core' must include: Kinesiology 241a/b, 230a/b, 080a/b [or 280a/b], Anatomy 221 (or Kinesiology 222a/b). For full details on core and elective requirements go to www.oka.on.ca.
