NEW ACADEMIC CHOICES
The University of Western Ontario is committed to ensuring that our students have the opportunity to expand intellectually through exposure to a variety of academic disciplines. New Academic Choices is a modular degree structure that provides the opportunity for undergraduate students to broaden their area(s) of study by combining modules from different Faculties and/or Departments, enhance their studies by focusing intensively on a specific discipline, and choose from even more areas of study than previously possible.
New Academic Choices affects undergraduate students who are in the following Faculties and Affiliated University Colleges:
Faculty of Arts and Humanities
Faculty of Health Sciences (School of Kinesiology, and Bachelor of Health Sciences)
Faculty of Information and Media Studies
Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry (Bachelor of Medical Sciences)
Don Wright Faculty of Music (Bachelor of Arts)

Students who are in the "old" curriculum must graduate no later than the Autumn 2008 Convocation.
