This module provides a balance between core Chemistry and Biochemistry. It includes a course which is an independent research project, in which the student works in a research laboratory in one of the Departments of Chemistry or Biochemistry, typically during the final year of study. This module can be completed only within a BSc (Hons) degree.
Admission Requirements
Completion of first-year requirements with no failures. Students must have an average of at least 70% in the following 3.0 principal courses, with no mark in these principal courses below 60%. 1.0 course from: Physics 020, 024, 028a/b and 029a/b, or the former Physics 022 or 025 is also required, but is not considered to be a principal course.
