Completion of first-year requirements, including the following courses each with a mark of at least 60%: Physics 020 or 024 or 026 or 028a/b plus 029a/b; Calculus 050a/b and 051a/b (or 081a/b) or Applied Mathematics 026; Chemistry 020 or 023; Two of Earth Sciences 022a/b, 023a/b, 081a/b, 083F/G, or the former Earth Sciences 020.

One of Chemistry or Earth Sciences may be postponed until year two.

0.5 course: Chemistry 213a/b
0.5 course from: Earth Sciences 200a/b, 206a/b or the former 205a, 230b
3.0 courses from:
Astronomy 201a/b or the former Astronomy 221a/b; Biochemistry 280a; Biology 281b, 282b; Calculus 250a/b or 280a/b, 251a/b or 281a/b; Applied Mathematics 290a, 291b;
