HONORS COURSES
All honors courses are scheduled for three or four hours each week. In some cases, at the discretion of the instructor, other requirements such as participation in projects or individual meetings with the instructor may be substituted for part of the formal class time. Honors courses typically involve more reading and more independent projects (e.g., essays) than corresponding general courses. On the other hand, class size is considerably smaller in honors courses and students receive more individual attention.
