DIPLOMA IN ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The Diploma in Organizational Development is designed to provide students with the practical and applied knowledge and skills required to manage the Organizational Development function in the workplace. The Diploma will consist of 10.0 courses, comprised of 3.5 degree-credit courses, 10 diploma-credit courses (5.0 course equivalents) and one practicum session (1.5 course equivalents). Enrolment will be limited and competitive, and will be determined on a case by case basis by the Faculty of Social Science together with The Western Centre for Continuing Studies. Students in the program will be required to maintain a minimum average of 70% in all courss in the Diploma in Organizational Development program, with no mark lower than 60%. All students will be admitted to the Diploma in Organizational Development according to the policies and guidelines for admission to the University. Non-UWO students must first apply to The University of Western Ontario through the Ontario University Application Centre in Guelph, Ontario. Prospective students must also complete the application form for the Diploma in Organizational Development provided by Continuing Studies at Westerndies. Application forms are available through Continuing Studies at Western. Students who are currently enrolled at UWO are required to complete only the Continuing Studies at Western application form. Applicants from universities other than UWO may apply to transfer up to 2.0 degree-credit course equivalents. Application Deadline: March 1 to be considered for admission for the fall term.
