| Description: An introduction to the use of the computer for modelling behavioral and social systems. Relationship of modelling to theoretical and empirical research and statistical methods. Examples of computer modelling in social sciences, presented by faculty from various departments. Introduction to computer modelling software. Student projects will be featured. | Antirequisite(s): Mathematics 310a, the former Computer Science 161a/b | Prerequisite(s): OAC mathematics and one Social Science course. | 2 lecture hours, 2 laboratory hours, 0.5 course. | Additional course-work in mathematics or computer science is
