| MME 385y Selected Experiments in Mechanical Engineering |

Familiarization with basic laboratory equipment procedures; introduction to signal analysis and error estimation; selected laboratory experiments illustrating basic physical phenomena pertinent to second and third year core courses. Structured and formalized laboratory reports. Each student is required to make an oral presentation. |
| Prerequisites: MME 202a/b, MME 213a/b, MME 204a/b , MME 273a/b, 258a/b, Statistical Sciences 243a/b or Statistical Sciences 241a/b. |
| Corequisites: MME 303a/b, MME 307a/b, MME 380a/b MME 381a/b. |
| 1 lecture hour, 1.5 laboratory hours, half course over two terms. |
