| English 245E English Literature of the Restoration and Early 18c (Survey) |

This course will examine representative works of poetry, prose, fiction, and drama from the period, with particular emphasis on satire and the rise of the novel. |
| Antirequisite: English 234E and 246F/G |
| Prerequisite: At least 60% in a 020-level English course, and at least 60% in all subsequent English courses, or permission of the department. |
