Theory and practice of heat exchangers, multiple effect evaporators, and climbing film evaporators. Flow of compressible fluids; flow measurement techniques for compressible and non-compressible fluids, pump and blower characteristics. |
| Prerequisite: CBE 203a/b or the former ES 203a/b. |
| 3 lecture hours, 1.5 laboratory hours, half course. |
