CBE 203a/b Momentum, Heat, and Mass Transfer

Topics discussed include: fluid statics, conduction of heat, diffusion, radiation, fluid motion, conservations of mass, momentum and energy; flow of perfect fluids, measurement of fluid flow, laminar and turbulent flow of fluids, convective heat transfer, convective mass transfer, analysis of heat exchangers.

Antirequisite: The former ES 203a/b

Prerequisite: Applied Mathematics 026.
