Completion of first-year requirements with no failures. Students must have an average of at least 70% with no mark below 60% in the following principal courses: 1.0 from Family Studies 1000-level courses, and 1.0 from Sociology 1000-level courses or Psychology 1000, plus 1.0 additional course. Psychology 1000 is needed for those students wishing to take Psychology 2410A/B or 3434E instead of Psychology 2041.
3.0-4.0 courses from: any Family Studies 2000-, 3000-, or 4000-level course, Human Ecology 2222F/G.
0.5-1.0 course: Psychology 2410A/B, 2041 or 3434E.
0.5 course from: Writing 1020F/G, 2101F/G, to be taken no later than the 3rd year, and preferably during 1st or 2nd year.
0.5 course: Family Studies 2300A/B.
1.0 course: Family Studies 4220A/B, 4230A/B.
1.0 course from: Psychology 2850A/B and Psychology 2855F/G or Sociology 2205A/B and 2206A/B.
1.0-3.0 courses (depending on the courses selected above) from: Anthropology 2270F/G, English 2033E, 3725F/G, any Family Studies 2000-, 3000-, or 4000-level course, History 2183A/B, Human Ecology 2222F/G, 3033A/B, 3338A/B, 3343A/B, Psychology 2050, 2075, Religious Studies 2150 or 2265E, Sociology 2235, 2267A/B, 3341F/G, 4496E.
