Registration in BMSc degrees
Students who are interested in the Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMSc) degrees usually register in Biological and Medical Sciences in Year 1. Following successful completion of the appropriate first-year courses, any first-year student may request entry into a BMSc degree containing a module(s) offered by the Basic Medical Science departments. As of May 1, 2006, registration in second year of BMSc degrees is limited and competitive. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee registration in BMSc degrees. For additional information, please visit the BMSc website at www.uwo.ca/bmsc

Students may elect to complete one Major module and/or a Minor module(s) offered by the Basic Medical Science departments in a degree other than a BMSc degree. For example, a student may obtain a BSc (Honors) degree with a Major offered by one of the Basic Medical Science departments and a Major chosen from either the Faculty of Science or another faculty. Alternatively, a student may elect to pursue a 3-year BSc with a Major offered by one of the Basic Medical Science departments.

Consult the BMSc website for more information about the degrees and modules offered by the Basic Medical Science departments: www.uwo.ca/bmsc
