THREE-YEAR BSc BIOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE


Admission Requirements

A complete first year program that includes Biology 022 or 023, and Chemistry 020 or 023, with at least 60% in each, Mathematics 030 or any two of the following: Calculus 050a/b, 051a/b, 081a/b, Mathematics 028a/b, Linear Algebra 040a/b, Statistical Sciences 024a/b.

Note: Students who intend to apply to a program in a specified Year 4 Honors Biological or Medical Science should check the Year 1 Mathematics requirements for that particular program.


Second and Third Years
Area of Concentration

The Area of Concentration will consist of all senior courses from the Faculty of Science specified above.

NOTES:

  1. Students intending to apply to enter Year 4 of the Toxicology with Environmental Science program must choose Biology 351a/b, and must also take Pharmacology and Toxicology 356a/b as an option.
  2. Students intending to apply to enter Year 4 of the Ecology and Evolution program must include 2.0 Biology courses at the 200 or 300 level with laboratory components, to fulfill the requirements for the BSc Biology. (See Biology program requirements and Ecology and Evolution program requirements).
