The Honors Specialization in Biochemistry and Chemistry and the Honors Specialization in Genetics and Biochemistry may be completed only within BSc (Hons) degrees.

Registration in BMSc degrees

As of May 1 2006, registration in second year of BMSc degrees is limited and competitive. As of May 1 2007, registration in second and third years of BMSc degrees wil be limited and competitive. As of May 1 2008, registration in second, third, and fourth years of BMSc degrees will be limited and competitive. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee registration in BMSc degrees. Science/BMSc Internship Program

The Science/BMSc Internship Program includes a series of preparatory sessions, an 8-16 month practical career-related experience in an employment setting, and a post-internship component. All students enrolled in the 3rd year of a 4-year undergraduate Science or Basic Medical Science Honors Specialization, Specialization, or in a Major + Major combination [where at least one of the Majors is in Science or Basic Medical Science] or students who are enrolled in the 3rd year of a 4-year BSc or BMSc, or BSc (Hons) or BMSc (Hons) program, are eligible to enrol in the Science/BMSc Internship Program, if they satisfy the eligibility requirements.
