Completion of first-year requirements, including German 030, 030w/x, 200, 200w/x or the former German 002, 002w/x, 020, 020w/x with a minimum mark of 60%.

9.0 courses:

1.0 language course in second year: German 200 or 200w/x (if not taken in first year)
1.0 course required in second year: German 250E
1.0 German language course from among German 292a/b, 293a/b, 294 or, as recommended by the Department, at the 300 level
0.5 course required in third year: German 205F/G
5.5 additional senior German courses. No more than 2.0 courses at the 100 level. With permission of the Department, approved courses from other Departments or Faculties may be counted toward this requirement.

Comparative Literature and Culture 020 is recommended.
