Social Work 205 Research Methodology and Statistics in Social Work

A study of methodological and statistical procedures to enable students to acquire the basic skills needed to design and implement elementary research procedures and utilize research principles and results. The course is taught from a Social Work perspective. (This course or its equivalent is a required course for admission to the Social Work program.)

Antirequisites: The former Social Work 350a/b, 405 and 450a/b; Sociology 231; Psychology 281 prior to 1990-91; Psychology 280E and 281; Psychology 282E; Psychology 284F/G andStatistical Sciences 024a/b.

Prerequisite: Social Work 020 or permission of the School.
