Sociology 231 Methodology and Statistics

A survey of basic procedures used in the collection and statistical analysis of data, including an introduction to the use of computer and package programs for data analysis.

Antirequisites: Statistical Sciences 137a, the former Statistical Sciences 138b, Social Work 205 and Media, Information and Technoculture 245a/b.
Prerequisite: At least 60% in Sociology 020 or 021E.
3 lecture hours.
Mandatory for second year of the Three Year and Honors Program.
