Mathematics 236 or the former Statistical Sciences 236

Two full-course options: Linear Algebra 040a/b must be taken in first term if it was not taken in first year. (The former Applied Mathematics 214a/b may be subsituted for Linear Algebra 040a/b.)

Note: Applied Mathematics 261b must be taken in second or third year.

Third Year

Applied Mathematics 303a/b, 310F/G

1.0 course in Applied Mathematics at the 200 level or above with the approval of the department.

One of: Statistical Sciences 316a/b or the former Statistical Sciences 301a/b, or 302a/b

Two and one-half course options

The Area of Concentration will consist of the 6.0 or 6.5 senior-level Science courses which are specified in second and third year.
