SOCIOLOGY
Students may complete the requirements of an area of concentration in Sociology at King's. Requirements for the BA in Honors Sociology and in any combined honors program with Sociology may also be completed at the College. Please see the FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE section of this Calendar for further information. The Honors Sociology program at King's University College is similar to that at the constituent university. However, in keeping with King's religious character and mandate, Sociology at the College is taught as a humanistic, values-oriented discipline. An active attempt is made to engage students in issues of social justice and community concern. The honors program in Sociology at King's has limited enrolment. In cases where the number of applicants exceeds the number of available spaces, entry into the program will be competitive; students who meet the minimum requirements may be refused admission.
