FOUR-YEAR BSc HONORS MATHEMATICS WITH COMPUTER SCIENCE MINOR
Admission Requirements
Second, Third and Fourth Years
The following must be completed by the end of fourth year: Mathematics 222a, 223b (these half-courses to be taken in second year), Linear Algebra 040a/b or the former Mathematics 202a, plus Mathematics 200a/b or the former Mathematics 203b; Calculus 250a/b plus 251a/b; Mathematics 208a/b, 207a/b; One half-course in Mathematics numbered 200 or above, if Linear Algebra 040a/b was taken (Applied Mathematics 261b may be substituted for this requirement); 2.0 courses chosen from: Mathematics 217a/b (or the former Mathematics 306a/b), 302a, 304a/b, 307a/b, 308a/b, (or the former Mathematics 303b); and either Mathematics 305a/b or Differential Equations 215a; 1.0 additional Mathematics course numbered 300 or above, or 1.5 Mathematics courses numbered 300 or above if Differential Equations 215a was taken Computer Science 208a/b, 209a/b, 210a/b, 211a/b, and 212a/b/y; 2.0 additional Computer Science courses or equivalent numbered 300 or above, (Computer Science 305a/b is recommended).
Each of the above will be considered as a principal course in the year in which it is taken. At least three courses from the above list must be taken each year.
Subsidiary Courses
Sufficient other courses or half-courses to bring the total number of courses taken in each of the second, third, and fourth years up to five courses.
