FOUR-YEAR BSc HONORS KINESIOLOGY
For Students who entered this program before September 2003 The Bachelor of Science Honors Kinesiology program commences at second year. Normally, a student must satisfactorily complete a five-course first year program which meets University regulations and includes Kinesiology 021. To be considered for progression to second year, students must also obtain a 70% average on the 5 courses, with no course grade lower than a 'C'.
Second Year
For progression in the honors program each year, students must retain a principal course average of 70% and a minimum of 60% in each principal course selected. Courses selected as subsidiary courses must be passed successfully and average to 60%.

A total of three and one-half or four full-course equivalent Kinesiology courses to be selected as follows:

A total of three Kinesiology full-course equivalents to be selected as follows: One half course from the 222-299, 330-399, 400-499 series.
Subsidiary Courses
One Science full-course equivalent numbered 200 and above One non-Kinesiology full-course equivalent Note:By the end of third year students must complete a minimum of one half- course in Introductory Statistics as well as Physiology 130 or Physiology 312.

Bachelor of Science Honors Kinesiology students who are either ineligible to progress or elect to leave the honors program and who wish to graduate with an area of concentration in Kinesiology, must transfer to the 3-year BA program. Additional course work may be necessary to meet University and program regulations regarding graduation requirements.
