FOUR-YEAR BSc HONORS GEOLOGY WITH ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE
Admission Requirements
Completion of the 3-year program in Geology and Environmental Science with a minimum average of 70% in all area of concentration courses and no mark in any of these less than 60%. Students who do not meet the course and mark requirements may be allowed to proceed into third and fourth year of the program only with the special permission of the Department of Earth Sciences and the Coordinator of the Environmental Science program.
Fourth Year
Principal Courses
Earth Sciences 490E (full course) The equivalent of two senior full courses from Groups A, B, D, E, F (Chemistry 272F and 372F/G or the former Chemistry 322, and CBE 363a/b or the former Engineering Science 363a/b are strongly recommended for those interested in Geochemistry).
Subsidiary Course
One senior Science half-course option, to attain a total of five and one-half courses. The approved courses for Groups A, B, C, D, E and F are listed in the degree requirements for the BSc Environmental Science.
