DEFERRED REGISTRATION
Applicants offered admission to first year programs may seek permission to defer their initial registration for up to one year. Applicants must submit a written request to Undergraduate Admissions, Room 165 Stevenson-Lawson Building, The University of Western Ontario, London, ON, N6A 5B8. Applicants must indicate their activities during their interim year. The request for deferral of registration should be submitted prior to the commencement of the session for which the offer of admission was given. If a deferral is granted, the applicant will be required to submit a $250.00 non-refundable deposit to secure a place for the following academic year. This deposit will be applied toward the tuition that year. If a deferral is granted, offers for a scholarship/award (excluding the Continuing Scholarship) or a place in residence will automatically be deferred until the next year.
