Available only to those students who will complete an Honours Specialization or Specialization in Physics, Astrophysics, or Medical Physics.

**1.0 course**: Physics 4999E.**1.0 course** from:

**Group A**: Courses Involving Applied and Theoretical Physics

Any Physics or Astronomy course numbered 3000 or higher.

**1.0 course** from:

**Group B**: Courses in the Mathematical Sciences

Any course numbered 3000 or higher in Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, Numerical and Mathematical Methods or Statistical Sciences.

**1.0 course **from: Group A or Group B, or Computer Science 2120A/B, Computer Science 2121A/B.

If any of these courses are taken as part of an Honours Specialization or Specialization in Physics, Astrophysics, or Medical Physics, alternative courses must be selected from Group A.**Note: **This module, together with an Honours Specialization in Physics, Astrophysics, or Medical Physics is recommended for students considering graduate studies in one of these fields.

**Note:** The above courses may have prerequisites that are not included in the module.
