Completion of first-year requirements, including 0.5 course from “Introduction to Sociocultural and Linguistic Anthropology” (Anthropology 1021A/B or Anthropology 1025F/G) and 0.5 course from “Introduction to Archaeology and Biological Anthropology” (Anthropology 1022A/B or Anthropology 1026F/G). Alternatively, students may substitute 1.0 course from Anthropology 1020, or the former Anthropology 1020E. A minimum of 60% is required in each course.
*Upper-year students who have not completed 1.0 courses as indicated above may substitute one or two courses from Anthropology 2000-2999 (except Anthropology 2222F/G, Anthropology 2226A/B, Anthropology 2229F/G, and Anthropology 2245F/G) in making up the 1.0 admission requirement as long as they were completed with a grade of at least 60%. These second-year qualifying entry course(s) cannot be counted for subsequent program credit.
