This course introduces the integration of AI techniques into chemical and biochemical engineering, to address the growing demand for AI-based solutions in these fields. Students will learn AI developments, algorithms, and tools while gaining practical skills in AI-driven problem-solving for process design, optimization, fault diagnostics, and operations.

Antirequisite(s): CBE 4413A/B if taken 2023-24.

Prerequisite(s): CBE 2291A/B and one course from Engineering Science 1036A/B and Computer Science 1026A/B.
