INTEGRATED SYSTEMS ENGINEERING AND DESIGN


Introduction to classical systems engineering and associated methods, tools and practices, with application experienced through multidisciplinary design projects. Students will gain knowledge across topics including: the Systems Engineering V-model, human-centered design, modeling and simulation, Design for X, sustainability, sociotechnical systems, interface and risk management, and human decision making.

Antirequisite(s): MME 2259A/B, the former Integrated Engineering 2297A/B.

Prerequisite(s): Registration in Integrated Engineering.

Extra Information:4 lecture hours. Accreditation units Complementary Studies = 25%, Engineering Design = 75%.
