Anatomy and Cell Biology 3201A/B

HUMAN EMBRYOLOGY


Students will explore a systems-based approach to human development from fertilization to newborn stages focusing on morphological changes. Causes and functional implications of developmental anomalies that can occur during this process will be discussed. Students will also explore societal ethical dilemmas surrounding topics that have an embryological connection.

Antirequisite(s): Health Sciences 4320A/B.

Prerequisite(s): Anatomy and Cell Biology 2200A/B with a minimum mark of 70%.
