Now, more than ever, children and youth are exploring how gender, as a social construct, structures their lives and opportunities. In this course, students will discuss not only how childhood and youth are shaped by cultural gender expectations, but also how they transcend these constructed ideals.
Prerequisite(s): Any course in Childhood and Youth Studies at the 3300-level.
