LAW IN THE SOCIOLOGY OF FILM
This course applies sociological perspectives to film dealing with law and legal institutions. Students are encouraged to go beyond conventional treatments of genre and character, and consider law and social control in the movies with a sociological eye.
Antirequisite(s): The former Sociology 2225A/B.
Prerequisite(s): 1.0 from Sociology courses at the 1000 level and third or fourth year standing in a Sociology or Criminology module.
